MONEY SMART

In addition to our specialized services, I Deserve Better...NOW! has taught the Money Smart curriculum since 2006. We have found it most beneficial for adults who need the foundation for understanding money and credit; for teens prior to obtaining their first job or going to college; and new business owners.

Money Smart is a financial education curriculum created by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The Money Smart curriculum is designed "to help adults outside the financial mainstream enhance their money skills and create banking relationships."

The training modules can be taught as individual lessons or combined as an overall financial education curriculum. There are 10 Money Smart training modules:

  • To Your Credit
  • Loan to Own
  • Keep It Safe
  • Own A Home

I Deserve Better...NOW! has been able to use the Money Smart curriculum as an additional tool to help generations achieve financial success.
